This is the engine that will take some time before it runs in the ST165. I have a Gen II 3SGTE out of my '93 ST185 that will be going in along with my '98 ST205 JDM transmission. I have 90% of the actual parts I need to build up the engine but I need tons more stuff to get it to run RIGHT. With all the other project work I have to do this is the last thing that will be finished. This engine will be non-streetable with the ideas of being a TRACK ONLY car.
Above is my intake manifold which has been Extrude Honed, gutted TVIS, custom Plenum welded on by HUX racing, and a BBK 65mm throttle body orignally made for the 5.0 Stangs. To finish it all off I had it powdercoated gloss black.

Above is my Eagle H-Beam ESP connecting rods. These are a very nice set of rods if you are on a budget, need stronger rods, and want to drop 2 pounds getting rid of the stockers. Less rotating weight equals quicker revs.

Here is my valvetrain setup, it consists of Ferrea stainless steel 1mm oversize valves. In the pictures above is the comparison of stock and new ones, notice the bottoms of the ones I am holding in my hand, pretty trick but expensive parts.
Below is my dual valvespring and magnesium- aluminum alloy retainers. They both are also produced by Ferrea. The valvesprings are rated at 80 lbs seat pressure.
Above is my JE .020" overbore pistons, these slugs are so nice and lightweight. I will soon send them off to be ceramic coated by Swain Tech.
Below is my Clutch Masters twin disc setup. This setup is awesome looking,so is the price. I like the idea of a twin disc cause the pressure plate is not near as heavy as a high performance single disc, which a heavy pressure plate can cause the thrust bearings to give out. Bad thing is this thing will have lots of grab and may affect streetabilty cause of the solid disc setup. I have heard that the clutch can be slipped. For a AWESOME deal on this or any other Clutch Masters clutch visit extremeboost.com and tell LB who sent you.
